Promoted by Acción Cultural del País Valenciano (ACPV) and the Joan Fuster Civic and Thought Institution (IJF), in 2006 the Centro de Cultura Contemporánea (OCCC) opened in the heart of Valencia in a firm commitment to the resurgence of culture and society.
Located in the emblematic building known as “El Siglo”, which formerly housed department stores, the initiative undertook a dual objective: to become a living element of culture, as a home of entities and as a center of activities, while recovering for citizens a building with recognized historical, artistic and social relevance.
Its concert space usually hosts musical performances in Valencia.
