El Musical is built in what was formerly the theater that later became the Cabanyal-Canyamelar Musical cinema. The main entrance doorway is the highest in the city of Valencia.

The TEM is a cultural center that serves the neighborhood and its associations, a theatrical laboratory that will also offer workshops and participatory activities, a cultural engine for Cabanyal and all of Valencia, with frequent musical offerings and series that welcome groups from the local scene.
